STEPS TO CONQUER DEPRESSION




Depression can be an extreme reaction to loss, life's struggles, or an injured self-esteem.
But when feelings of intense sadness  including feeling of helpless, hopeless, and worthless feeling  last for many days to weeks and keep you from functioning normally, your depression may be something more than sadness. It may very well be clinical depression (a treatable medical condition).
Here are signs to note when these feelings occur;
Difficulty in concentrating, remembering details, and making decisions.
Fatigue and decreased energy.
Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and/or helplessness.
Feelings of hopelessness and/or pessimism.
Insomnia, early morning wakefulness, or excessive sleeping.
Irritability, restlessness.
Loss of interest in activities or hobbies once pleasurable, including sex, yes SEX!
Loss of pleasure in life.
Overeating or appetite loss.
Persistent aches or pains, headaches, cramps, or digestive problems that do not ease even with treatment.
Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" feelings
Thoughts of suicide or suicide attempts.

Learn who you are, where you’re from, where you’re headed and how to affect your destiny
Take control of the situation at hand by setting goals in creating a change to affect your life positively
It’s important to get enough sleep
Challenge negative thoughts
Try to find fun with whatever you do at the moment in time
Be confident and believe in YOU and make sure to achieve every set goal.
