VICTOR MOSES IS CONFIDENT NIGERIA WILL BEAT BAFANA

Chelsea's Victor Moses has backed his Nigeria team-mates to win against South Africa in Saturday's 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo.
Moses, 26, was excused from the squad to have surgery on a recurring toe problem and is combining recuperation with his honeymoon, having tied the knot after the FA Cup Final.
Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr pointed out at Thursday's press conference how badly missed Moses and a few other experienced players will be, but the forward is confident his young teammates can do the business.
"They will be just fine," Moses told ESPN on Friday, likely remembering how the Super Eagles have never lost to Bafana in a competitive fixture.

"I wish them all the best and I believe in the team to go out there and do the job tomorrow.
"We are Super Eagles and we still remain the best in Africa," he said.
Moses also hoped to be back in action in time for Nigeria's World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in September.

"I will be there if I get called up, God willing," he added.
